1) Firestarter 2) The Shining 3) Night Shift 4) Bachman Books 5) Pet Sematary 6) Different Seasons 7) Carrie 8) The Dark Half 9) Misery 10) The Stand included a couple of his collections, and stopped reading him around the Tommyknockers (the last in the line of his work I have read), so my list is not really all inclusive. I should give his latter post-horror type stuff a chance one of these days, because, literary critics notwithstanding, he is a very talented writer. I'll probably get a lot of static for relegating The Stand (considered to be his Magnum Opus) to # 10, but I always felt it was too long for it's own good. |

ouch, personally that's one of my favourite King novels some of his recent stuff is good but a lot is just bizarre quasi-sci-fi stuff I can't get into, most recent King novel I actually liked was Under The Dome |
