Hello old internet friends!

My longing for purposeful and retarded discussions about metal and all that surrounds it has been resurrected, and where else to quench the unquenchable thirst for meaning in life than with you old bastards?

What the fuck has been up with you guys since last time? As for me, I fulfilled my degree, travelled a lot, started competing in powerlifting again, stopped checking out new music and re-visited old heroes and some stuff that I couldn't stomach before but now apparently can. Also picked up a long lost hobby that is reading, so I have been reading a lot.

Other than that, not much else is new. How are you guys doing?

Hey Thomas! Long time no see. Glad to see you back. I'm the former define infinity. I decided to change my name due to be being tired of the last one. It's not nearly as busy as it once used to be on the forums. Many people have left and some very few have joined. I hope you will post more.

EDIT: What have you been listening to these days?

Hey guys, thank you for the welcomes!

@SilkCrimsonMoons. I'll probably still call you DI for short. Well, I'll probably not most as much as I used to, but I've missed this place, so I figured I'd join in again. Could always pull something decent out of the discussion going on here as opposed to other places. Also the regulars in here is a great resource for new and awesome bands. I have been occupying myself with evrerything ranging from Amon Amarth, which I used to hate to Blind Guardian which I also used to hate. Other than that a whole lot of Iron Maiden, Sabbath, Moonsorrow, Finsterforst, Pyramaze, Emperor (which I never could get into before), Arcturus (same), Enslaved, Wolves in the Throne Room (Never liked them either earlier!) and a whole lot of other stuff. 80s thrash mainly as well as 70s and 80s heavy metal.

@NorthFromHere. Well, fantasy for the most part I guess. I am a huge fanboy of all things pompous when it comes to reading, so everything from A Song of Ice and Fire to Wheel of Time to The Braided Path triology, a lot of Terry Pratchett (Discworld stuff, mainly). Have also read some other stuff, such as Kill Your Friends which was pretty sick, but alot of fun.
