Looks utter crud.

Question, if you want your film to have Natalie Portman with an English accent, why not just hire Keira Knightley?

Interesting point. Apparently, the film's been ready for a while, but has been sitting on the shelves due to certain events in London last year. Anyway, KK's profile might be higher than NP's, since she's up for an oscar and all, so NP would be cheaper. Then again, maybe not.

You liked the Silent Hill one, yes? :) I'll probably get it on DVD, not worth breaking my three years of cinema-less bliss for.

Eh, I enjoy going to movies. But yes if you haven't been in 3 years don't break the streak for this one.

Was it three years? The last one I went to the cinema for was Kill Bill 1. Two and a bit years.

I just don't find the cinema experience that good. Wow, big screen and surround sound, the latter of which I have at home. And there's always some bastard talking on phone/kid crying/popcorn getting thrown about. It just isn't worth my time or money.

I like the moviegoing experience, which explains why I've seen such cinematic craptaculars as Boogeyman over the last couple of years.

I hate going to cinemas and theatres too, mostly because the average member of public is so infuriatingly gormless and stupid, ugh. so frustrating. even if they were showing like the Criterion version of Brazil and they'd spliced in some Chuck Norris footage I wouldn't go see it because of the sheer amount of infuriating motherfuckers on planet idiotmonkey. :D

Well, theatres are slightly better, because you don't get as many fools there. Then again, if I had a pound for every giggling college girl I shushed....

By theatre, I don't mean cinema. I mean, real, life motherfucking PLAYS! I'm cool enough just going to one without killing people as well. Anyhow, I am a heterosexual male, and they are generally good-looking, so you do the math...

my mistake. although the last time I went to see a play, it was like watching emo. F++++ would definetly throw limbs at it again.

point two: humans are all ugly, but assuming that they weren't for a moment, then I'd still find annoyingness to outweigh beauty and an axing would occur.

I think it's better for everyone involved if I stay in

It depends on the play you watch, I suppose. Usually Shakespeare's a safe choice, but some of the "re-imaginings" are too much.

24 eh? My estimations went from 15 to about 30!

Yeah late night cinema armed with beer is great. I was lucky enough once to see a crap film with me and my friend the only two in the hall. Cue much running around in circles.

Haha, yeah... The feeling of walking into an empty cinema is strangely uplifting... Conversely, walking through the door and immediately spying a load of vulgar looking youths sitting right behind your seats is depressing.
