Holy Jesus, I went to West Virginia once, but all I saw were pot crops and KKK shrines. Damn I guess West Virginia ain't got nothing on Alabama. |

West Virginia had its moments though. I was there as part of a good old fashioned family vacation, and we were going rafting down some huge freaking river literally miles away from the nearest town, and of course, our river guides were complete toothless hillbillies. The rest of the family was in one boat, while I was alone in another with this old river guide dude. Now, West Virgina is a tropical rain forest compared to where I live, and this guy pointed out several spots along the river where people were growing small crops of Marijuana. I'll never forget when he took me aside and said, "Now look boy, if you see any of the locals, be sure not to look them right in the eyes. Because around here, if you look someone in the eyes, it can only mean one of two things. Either your gonna fight em' or your gonna fuck em.'" Also I learned that if you want to keep someone from wandering into a certain area, you can chop the tail off a rattle snake and nail its body into the ground in some dense foilage. Anyone who walks by will be bitten. So between that and the news clip from Alabama, not to mention hurricanes and Texans, it's probably a good idea to just stay the hell away from the South. |

Good Lord. This is why I went to school in Massachusetts. Even Arlington, Virginia is too close to the south for comfort. (As Arthur discovered, we're just east of "Deliverance.") |

HOLY BEJESUS! At first I told myself there is no fucking way this is real, but then I rememberd the three years I spent in Arkansas and the somewhat "backwards" way that some of these people are. Not even a Louis Farrakahn speech could set us back this far in time. How embarrasing  |

you're black? not that it's a bad thing, but come on, it's unusual to find a black metalhead. |

A very clever thing to say indeed. |

Hehe that was exactly what was going through my mind. But contrary to what Rob Zombie would have us believe, these hillbillies didn't try to rape or kill us or anything. In fact, we let the other boat with my family and his boss get farther down river river and out of sight, and we got freaking blitzed. I still can't believe that news thing is real.....why the hell didn't they show what everyone was looking at??? ZOMG THEY MADE TWO MOVIES ABOUT THIS! ![]() I couldn't find a good pic of the first one, but you get the idea. Fucking hell! In the first Leprechaun in the Hood movie, there was a magic flute!! I think we are on to something here people. |
