To make a long story short, I became depressed, expressed suicidal thoughts, and was sent to this hospital in the Middle Of Fucking Nowhere (But Nice Scenic Mountains) USA. I'm back now.

So... what's up?

In context of what I wrote, the second line obviously is the important one. If you found it tasteless, I apologize.

I remember when I first joined the Air Force I did so because my Father was a drunk and I'd gotten into a serious fight with him and hurt him real bad. When I left he got worse with my mother, sister and brother, so that sucked and it made me want to get out of the Air Force and go back home to protect them and whatnot. My goal was to get out of the Air Force, I tried every legal angle I could find. It never worked, but in the process of it all they sent me to see a mental health professional because they feared I would kill myself! WTF? How is killing myself going to help my family?? It was so baffling and ever since I've had disdain for those psychiatrist types. They never listen to the person, they lump you into a category and go from there. Very annoying.
