And 71% off, impressive savings. Is it really that good? Would you say it's better than Cowboy Bebop or Ghost in a Shell?

Last summer me and a friend sat down and watched the whole Evangelion series, in one sitting  It's totally awesome, really the best anime I've watched in my life, and I got turned on by the chicks *shockhorror*

Ghost in the shell was the shiz, but I can't really compare this. Awesomeness, good buy Daniel.

Dunno... I only saw a couple of episodes and was hooked, really impressed, but never got to see more. So I saw this one on San Diego this weekend, went crazy and just bought it.

Let us hope it's as awesome as I hope.

Ghost in the Shell is cool, but I have never seen Cowboy BeeBop. Is it good?

I'll report my progress through Evangelion in this thread as I watch the show. I guess I'll do it slowly to enjoy it (1 hour a week). But first I have to finnish final exams :?

Watch out or anime may grow on you :).
I haven't watched Evangelion but instead some other series like Berserk and Elfenlied. Now in the middle of watching Great Teacher Onizuka.

I tried but couldn't get into it. Not a big giant robot guy I guess. And the old anime "young boy has to become a hero and save the world while surrounded by a bunch of sluts" scenario is just too much.

Berserk is fantastic, I love it. I just wish it would have kept going. It's held up really well too. Still looks better than a lot of more modern anime despite the choppiness.

Oh, speaking of Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo is really solid, too.

NGE is an awesome, awesome, awesome show, but it ends on a really bizarre note. Plus... I haven't seen the REAL last episode.

I haven't seen Neon Genesis Evangelion yet, but I've heard a lot of good stuff about it. I should check it out.

Trigun's the shit, though. I fucking love that series. 8)
