A 15-year-old boy is being prosecuted in connection with the case of a girl who fell pregnant at the age of 11.
The girl from West Lothian - who would become one of the UK's youngest mothers - told a newspaper that she was looking forward to having her child.

The teenage boy is due to appear in court in July charged with rape because of the age of the girl, who is now 12.
The Scottish Sun said the girl, who has not been named, had unprotected sex with the boy on a night out with friends in Edinburgh in August.

The newspaper said the girl smokes up to 20 cigarettes a day.

She said she was looking forward to motherhood and hopes she has a boy when she gives birth.

The girl added that she thought she would be able to cope as she'd had "lots of practice" looking after young children.

"I'm enjoying being pregnant - even though I get a bit of a sore back and sore ribs."

Her 34-year-old mother told the newspaper: "I'm not ashamed of my daughter at all - in fact, I'm proud of her for keeping her baby."

Well, 15 and 11 year olds can be amazingly stupid but the mother deserves a basketball up her anus.

That reminds me of when I had this girlfriend when I was 12 who was the same age as me, and all she wanted to do was fuck me. I didn't of course because at 12 you barely know what sex is, and I was too scared and confused to do it. In hindsight I think that she used to get fucked by her dad (who was a slimy customer) which was why she had so much knowledge on the subject. Very wrong.

There's a severe lack of parenting in the world these days. I blame the mother exclusively, for an 11 year old can't be expected to make the right choices without guidance. As for the boy, I wouldn't jail him, he can't take care of his newfound family behind bars.

Man you can't be serious? What's worse for the baby - no daddy, or daddy and mummy who are only together because baby exists?

Well, if they insist on keeping it, they need to at least try giving it a go. It's a fucked up situation to begin with, but I think having reality dickslap you in the face at 15 is a far worse punishment than sitting in jail and having no responsibilty whatsoever. Plus taking care of them doesn't necessarily mean being with the girl, it could just be in a financial sense. She's going to need all of the help she can get, and he should be giving her financial support in the very least. He can't do that behind bars.
