YEAH, I SAID IT. IT'S UNFUNNY, STUPID AND OVERRATED. THE SHOW ABOUT NOTHING MAY BE ORIGINAL BUT IT'S STUPID. THE CANNED LAUGHTER IS OVER USED.

george - "i want cereal"
seinfeld - "cereal? cereal is overrated, eat toast"
*CUE CANNED LAUGHTER*

seriously, whot he fuck finds that shit the least bit funny?

the only funny thing in the show is Kramer. he kicks ass.

It must be pretty confusing for you that Seinfeld is considered one of the biggest shows in the history of television.

Haha,

I found Seinfeld a grower. I wasn't into it the first few times I saw it, but suddenly I found myself not wanting to miss it.

Curb Your Enthusiasm surpasses it though, in my opinion.

Edit: Honestly, even the example Azrael gave which was supposed to be a demonstration of how unfunnny it was made me lol.

Jerry Seinfeld is my hero. I've seen every episode at least 10 times and I'm still not sick of the show. If I could be a celebrity for a day I would be Jerry.

Im not even going to try to explain why its funny, it just is. Accept that people like it and get over it.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is indeed funnier though.

It's impossible to explain Seinfeld because it's about nothing. It's like the jokes we make around this forum, completely idiotic, childish and without integrity, but funny as hell at the same time.

I must check out that "curb your enthusiasm". Never heard of it.

Back when i was younger, they used to re-run Seinfeld 24-7, and i hated it. And then just as i started to like it, it went away!

And yes, it is funny.

Ok, let me get this straight. Jews on tv appear to be incredibly sensitive and attuned to racism aimed at them, correct? Then why does Jerry Seinfeld think it's ok to make the most racist episode of any sitcom towards Native Americans I have ever seen? Switch the references in that episode towards blacks or jews and it wouldn't have even made it past the script editor.

Kath: Curb Your Enthusiasm is a show starring ex-seinfeld writer Larry David which chronicles his life. Its half improv and half scripted, and is mainly the same type of show as Seinfeld, except a lot more politically incorrect. Very funny.

Oh crap! They show every single friggin American tv show here but not CyE. Fuck. I hope I can find some of it on the net.

Kathy, you can browse through the Winamp TV stations, using Winamp, and one of them shows all the Curb your Enthusiasm episodes in order starting from the beginning.
