The hyped up Adult Swim series based on a DM band finally premiered this weekend. All in all, it makes some nice references that only metal fans will catch, such as a grocery store named "Finntroll", or the store having a special on "rotten body landslides." The coffee song was hilarious (and actually a damn good song), but the rest of the humor was that same old dry Adult Swim humor that only the writers of the show and their inner circles laugh at. Good music, but few funny moments. |

I thought it was pretty enjoyable. The grocery store name was the funniest part, though. |

hm, it's nice (thanks Morlock), i don't laugh that much but the metal thing keeps me watching. also, i was looking at the credits and Kirk Hammet is one of the voice actors. nice. |
