Sushi is amazing. Just be sure you're getting it at a good restaurant. Even though I've never had bad sushi, I've had some that tasted pretty goddam "meh". Luckily, there's an awesome sushi restaurant around here. I go there for all my sushi needs. |

MISS *vomits at the thought of it* Once I had a little bit of raw eal, and it made me gag. And then weep at the price I paid for it. I had to then have a mouthful of raw octopus, so I just tried to put it in my mouth and swallow immediately so it would be over as soon as possible, and that ended with me nearly choking to death. |

My gfs, sister's BF is a huge japan-everything dork so he took us to an authentic japanese restaurant comprised of a white staff with dance club music playing over the speakers. She's right! Unagi is badass. Unagi Maki, however, is not as good unless you like avacado. Tuna is disgusting, though. Easily the worst kind of sushi there is. EDIT: I see you've had Unagi. You must love it for all time. Love the taste, despise the high price for those two teeny-weeny pieces!

Anyways, I like Sushi but I am really a Sashmi guy, the california roles shit I don't like either. Faves - Korean Tuna Sashimi sprinkled with gold flakes, even the heart is awesome and they have really awesome raw beef too (Sashimi isn't just fish, it is anything raw). I also like the Squid when it is freshly cut up and still moving in your plate and crawling up your chopsticks, awesome. Taiwan - Take a whole fish, cut it up into Sashimi, then take waht is left of it after you eat everything and make a soup out of it, insane. Japan - Is always cool, but usually in Japan would rather eat their other types of food. US - I usually just order Sashimi and Goza cos all my friends like rolls and shit and not my thing. Worst - Live Shrimp in Korea, like jumping out of the bowl at you and Chicken Sashimi (Yeah, raw chicken) on a date with this chick in Japan who was fucking with me and wanted to see if I would anything.....ha ha. Nice joke. It tasted ok, I was just worried about the plauge the whole time. |

Sea critters? What the fuck is that? Are you 10 and not living under the sea? I've never tried sushi, but yesterday I was walking up the hill from the bus stop at uni and I noticed a log of human feaces on the pavement. On closer inspection it was sushi. |

We call it "Chinky Food" up here in MA, although that's a term of endearment because the Chinese food up North here is amazing!
