i was told by the local pc expert that i might be able to play oblivion if i downlaoded the update of my graphics card. does anyone know what she meant and how i can do it???

google the name of your card, go to the official site, and see if such an update exists. If so, install.

all right. how can i find out what card i've got? i think it's an nvidia, but how can i tell exactly what model?

Right click on My computer icon
got to properties
click on the hardware tab
select device manager
somewhere on that list will be you video card name and number
