I just posted this on another forum...his show definitely kicked ass. I would always laugh at the other guys, who went in their with fancy animal equipment, when Steve Irwin would just use a stick and his bare hands.

I can't believe that he died from a sting ray...sting.

Ironically, Stingrays are not usually agressive. If any animal was going to kill him, you would think maybe a croc or snake.

Anyway, one of the coolest and funniest aussies ever is gone.

Well that's just the thing. Stingrays generally aren't filed under deadly.

I was just about to post this. Got to know about it minutes ago. Damn, this is really bad.

I enjoyed his shows A LOT. I started watchin his show after watchin his bloopers on Discovery. One heck of a daring guy. Gonna miss him a lot.

I was very relieved when I discovered he was killed by a ray instead of a croc. His death was almost instant, but if it was a croc it would be just too horrible to contemplate.
