So I went to watch Shark's get killed for fun the other day. It was awesome, there was blood, teeth, stomachs and little kids poking dead shark's eyeballs.

But then some dickhead Protestors came along and tried to ruin our fun by using a speaker thingy and giving us some speech on how Sharks need our help. I honestly dont give a shit. Anyways, here be some pics:

The girl in the long skirt across the street from the protect sharks signs was so irritating, she looked and smelled like a damn hippy and she kept stuttering, bitch. I love how they were the cause of a ton of litter on an otherwise beautiful boardwalk area too, no one wants their damn pamphlets.

Anyways, it was actually quite a boring day, standing around forcing small talk with family for 2 hours so we get to see 3 sharks is not my idea of a good time, especially on my day off.

I wanted some better pics of the sharks laid out and close up but little shits (anyone under 8) kept running under the barrier to pet the sharks and some Barrier Nazi shark weigher guy got pissed and yelled at us all. I hate kids.

i was going to say "oh you should've shoved a duck in their faces", but considering the special occasion i think you should've shoved a dead shark in their faces, or better yet, shoved a dead hippie in a shark's face.

What is the point of killing an animal and then have a celebration about it? There's nothing fun about that, or cool. Those people can go get a Tobasco colonic for all I care.

I dunno, I wanted to see a shark, thought they looked cool. Most of my initial post was jest, I would never go out and actually kill any animal for fun. But I am curious, if someone told me they were gonna kill a shark and to come check it out, I would.

I am not against killing animals for food. If the sharks just die and get tossed in the trash I'd like the stab those people in the eye. It's just the whole concept of going out, catching a shark, then dragging it along the boat backwards to drown it—totally unfucking necessary!—and then putting it on display at the docks and hacking it apart. It's just all completely pointless to me.

Catch it, kill it quickly, butcher it indoors, in private, and then eat the meat, etc. I just find these shark hunting contests to be completely lame.

Im not very informed on what was going on at this thing, but I thought I heard someone saying something about using them for oils and food so I dunno if what I was watching was completely based on "Lets all kill some sharks for no reason!" All I know is no matter what I say, you say, anyone says, those sharks were gonna be killed and I wanted to see one close up without having to fear for my life. And like I said at the end of my first post, it was actually one very boring day, I would never go back to one, I got to see a shark and thats all I wanted.

I cant be arsed to care like the protestors, people do things, I dont care what they do, how they do it or why. I have my life and my problems to deal with.

But the way you put it, it does sound quite terrible, I didnt know how they caught the things and I couldnt see anything because of kids everywhere. Goddammit, now I feel bad, you should get in touch with Alec Baldwin and work for PETA.

I think it would be cool to see a shark, but, yeah, I don't like the idea of just killing sharks for "fun"...

It's all good, man. I'm not of the protestor mentality. I just think there's a way to do something and there's a way not to do something. These people do it the way it shouldn't be done. If you're going to kill and animal, just do it humanely. Drowning an animal is not humane and the way they kill a shark is not a quick drowning. It's a slow death. I fucking hate that. They could just very well bring a small pistol out with them and shoot the thing in the head at the side of the boat. I'm not a fan of torture, and not hypocritical enough to join PETA.

For some reason, human suffering doesn't bother me as much as an animal's.

that's because humans are lame-ass and inflict suffering on themselves. Humans consider themselves more intelligent than dolphins because they have countries, new york, wars and stuff. Dolphins consider themselves more intelligent than humans for exactly the same reasons (anyone recognize the quote?).
