Please educate me, but what does the slang 'douche' or 'douchebag' mean? I've always wondered as it's spoilt episodes of Southpark for me before now. I'm guessing it's something to do with pooing? Is it a bag you Americans have created to catch poo in if you're suffering diarrhea?

someone told me a douche was a tampon. Dont know if its true or not.

Hoh, what an interesting piece of information :D It seems like such an innocent mild insult, that I would have never known that it has such 'brutal' origins :blink: I think I've heard it used many times on Conan :blink: But who would call anyone with that, it's so vulgar :unsure:

It causes problems for Frenchies because "Douche" their just means a normal shower. Like it says in the Wikipedia article, in France they would call it "une douche vaginale" (I think).

However as British we find it completely confusing because the word has no meaning at all over here, except for the American meaning, which I only heard about myself through watching South Park. (That Douche vs Turd one :lol: )
