Well, Chicago lost the big one. But, at least I will be able to take pride in something that most won't... at least I'll never have to admit... that I got a hard-on during Prince's halftime show, unlike ALL YOU OTHER CLOSET FREAKS! GET OVER YOURSELVES, YOU QUEERS, YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER? NOTHING'S FUCKING OVER. Wait til' next year.

Indianapolis is a fucking gutter.

OKAY, I ADMIT IT! I got a stiffy, too... I simply couldn't focus on watching the game, Prince was so hawt, I don't even know how we lost. It only lasted 5 hrs, though, I swear.

Purple Rain is still a bad ass song.

And Peyton Manning is a massive queer.

And the hometown hero Cedric Benson would have helped the Bears offense had he been able to stay in there.

Rex Grossman doesn't even belong Quarterbacking an Arena Football League team.

Did I mention that Peyton Manning is a queer? Cause he is, he's homo central.

Dungy is class though.

For a sport that involves 0.5% foot action per game, which one of you US guys came up with that name for your version of rugby or is it meant to be ironic? Did you know that your sport is called American Football by the rest of the world? Will the NY Giants ever be good again?

Enjoy your worthless victory. And your state. Oh wow, how will I kill my free time now that the season is over..? Oh, I think I'll go to a wide assortment of bars, stripjoints, and fine eateries, and then I'll take in a cubs game, and hit up the frequent Chi-town shows, and a whole bunch of other shit, because Chicago's an actual city, and not a dump whole for the heartland's rejects.

Yes, we know everyone else calls it American Football. The Giants can go to hell.

On a side note, I've never been to the city of Indianapolis, but everything about it screams inbred redneck hicktown. Am I right?

Before the forward pass was made legal, way back in the 20's or 30's, the game was a lot closer to Rugby. It's just evolved so much the name Football isn't accurate anymore, but it was fitting when the game was "invented" over 100 years ago.

LOL, but it doesn't involve the feet, LOLOLLOL... Yet, it is carried by foot. One might even say it's marched upfield. Who else marches? Foot soldiers. It can be justified all day, so it's cool. Plus, Futbol is just an excuse for short shorts and junk-slippage-outtage.

Ah... Still, think that a name change would make the rest of the world a bit more tolerant? Plus I hate the word soccer - who came up with that? Pisses me off!

Also, why do you have the AFC & NFC as separate divisions? Is this like Smackdown and Raw (or WCW and WWF?)?

No, that's not true. It's not the most happening city, and I'll probably end up moving, but it's got a couple of good spots (Broad Ripple, Downtown). Of course there's a few hicks, but it's the Midwest, what do you expect? I'm not a big Colts fan, but I was glad to see them win. I've actually been an Eagles fan since I was a kid.

Oh, and KGG, quit being a crybaby.

Finally, Europeans, enough with the "OMGZ AMERICAN FOOOTBALL IS TEH GHEY, HOW CAN YOU LIKE IT!! THEY TALK TO MUCH BETWEEN PLAYS!!!" approach. We get it, you don't like it, drop it already.

Damn English, pisses me off! Apart for Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and Motorhead. What have the English ever done for us?

Thanks Adam, I know you shouldn't judge a city based on how society portrays it. For example, I actually really enjoyed Cleveland when I visited.

However, I live 20 miles from Philly, and I readily admit it is a complete shithole, the media got that one right.

They aren't really that seperate, after all AFC teams play 4 NFC teams a year and vice-versa. It goes back to the days when they were different leagues, the AFL and NFL. Now the NFC and AFC really are just used to seperate the two different playoff trees used to determine two super bowl teams.

Note, the last several years the AFC has been catergorically stronger than the NFC: just this year the AFC's #4 Colts were a 7 point favorite over the NFC'S #1 Bears, and the Colts covered that spread. The AFC has won 5 out of the last 6 superbowls and dominated games between the conferences. In fact, I'm sure I'm not the only one that considered this years climatic game to be the AFC championship between the Colts and the Patriots--I didn't even watch the super bowl because I thought the Bears had NO chance to win. In the 90s the NFC was much stronger than the AFC, so maybe it will swing back that way again sometime.

You liked Cleveland? I went to see Motorhead there a couple years ago, and I thought it was the most disgusting city I've ever visited, and that includes Detroit which is a close second. Maybe I just didn't go to the right spots.

I've actually never been to Philly, though I've been meaning to see an Eagles or Phillies game. People always ask me if I'm from Philly since I like both of those teams, but really it's just coincedence. Randall Cunningham and Lenny Dykstra were my favorite players when I was little, and I kind of just stuck with them.

I went right downtown to see a Browns game in the winter. I thought the downtown was quite nice: lots of open space and it was well-decorated for Xmas.

If you ever to see a game in Philly, I suggest the Phillies. Their new stadium is quite nice, and Phillies fans are much better behaved than Eagles fans.

2006 was a really bad year for Philly. Corruption and crime spiraled out of control. The murder rate was it's highest in over a decade, and previously "safe" zones of the city like the campus of St. Joes university suddenly became very dangerous. The horror stories of student after student getting robbed at gunpoint there aren't helping Philly's reputation.
