Hail from the desert of Las Vegas! I am DeathsGreatestFear, which is also the name of my (currently) one man death/black/thrash/atmospheric/progressive/power/whatever else the hell I feel like Metal band. Tracks up soon.

I have been visiting metalreviews.com for years now, and I think that this is one of the most genuine metal reviews sites on the planet, full of people who actually CARE about the music. Without this site I would not have discovered a majority of the music that makes my life worth living.

I recently purchased the following:

Amorphis-Eclipse
So, Born From Fire comes on, and I am basically required to headbang.
I can't stop listening, it is so fucking great.

Katatonia-The Great Cold Distance
Amazing. Maybe when I can pry myself away from eclipse I'll listen to this more often. Atmospheric? You bet your ass!

Emporer-IX Equilibrium
Emporer - Nuff said. That one riff in Sworn (you know which one)... I feel like god.

Anyway, I have now introduced myself, and you will be seeing me much more in the future. Hail, and subsequently, kill.

Wow. I would hope that people would not judge me based on the fact that I use no spaces in my username like someone else who you apparently have a problem with. I am not that person. I have never gone by any of those monikers. I truly think you have made a mistake. I accept that for what it is, and I am neither angry or annoyed. But I would ask you to acknowledge the fact that I am a new member, who does not know you or for that matter anyone else on this forum, and not make any preformed opinions as to who I am based on the mistakes of someone who has come before me. Sorry, but it kind of bothers me that upon joining a forum the first thing that happens is I get blamed for the bullshit of another person. Not particularly welcoming, but I understand it's a mistake.

Ok, look. I signed up here to discuss metal, because I just moved to a new town and have not yet found a single other person who knows anything about music. Mistaken identity hurts, but when I try to unravel that mistake I'm attacked. I would like to be a member of this community, but if you can't simply take my word that I am not this person, I will gladly leave. I don't want to cause any trouble, I just want to talk about music. I have more to worry about in life then whether or not you believe me anyway. As I type I'm standing up to go to work. Try to be a little more trusting, please?
