I have a PC right now. I'm probably going to buy a laptop soon but I'm not sure what kind of computer it'll be.

Because it makes you gay. And once you're gay...

Yeah, yeah, get your laughs... But those guys can outplay and outsing anyone. Well, almost anyone. Zakk Wylde is the most un-gay guy ever.

Theres no other way. :)

But anyway, I have used Macs in the past and I do not like them. The biggest drawback for me is the lack of a right click.

Right click ist krieg. :dio:

Yeah, I can't understand the one mousebutton thing, it's like having one arm.

I FUCKING HATE MACS WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING.

I had no strong feelings until last semester, when I had to use them for my digital art class. Oh, how I grew to loathe them. User-friendly interface my pasty metalhead ass. I can never map my network drive properly on the damn things, and where the fuck is the right-click button? Fucking InDesign won't translate colors between Macs and PCs, either, and they can't delete stuff on flash drives in anything resembling a logical way.

I hate those commercials, too. They don't even cast Macs in all that good a light. Most of them say the following:

PC dude: Hey, I can get real work done.
Mac dude: Hey, I can play with pictures. And sounds. And anything else of very little consequence.

In summation, I hate Macs and everything about them.

Although I do love my iPod.

Kayla said it best, I guess. Haha. Macs are the way to go if you're heavily into digital art. The processing power is unmatched (unless you can spend around $3,000 on a PC). If you're just a regular computer user then you need to go with a PC. Anything you do on a PC is compatible with pretty much 95% of anything out there. With a Mac you're severely limited.

Plus, it becomes a pain if you're like most people and you're using a PC at work and at school, and everywhere else. I have IE 7.0 at home, but not at work, and it's a pain in the fucking ass because I'm always clicking the wrong buttons and such because my brain is confused. Haha. Using a Mac at home, but a PC everywhere else, you're going to find yourself consistently frustrated.

The apple button+click makes up for the lack of a right clcik button itself. And on my macbook, holding one finger in place on the mousepad and then moving the other one serves as the rolling thing on most mouses.

Mac OS X is a really stable system, I've used this computer for hours and horus a day since August, and it has yet to crash.

PCs. Maybe if software was actually made for Macs...? We had one for ages, fucking thing crashed all the time. Get PC-'d up, and nary a problem.

Yes, those commercials are annoying. Read a great rant about it the other day in the Guardian...

That's the other thing. Macs are supposed to be these sturdy, nary-a-problem wonderthings, but everyone I know who has a Mac has had at least one major problem in the past four years, and my little Dell has been faithfully plugging away. Never crashed, never froze, never ate my homework. It's getting a little cranky now (it took almost a full minute to crop something in Photoshop the other day), but that's over four years of incredibly solid history, while my friend's Mac (less than a year old) had to be sent back because the damn thing kept randomly turning off, and could only be restarted with this arcane voodoo dance which involved pressing on the sides of the monitor while it was closed (it's a laptop).
