Gosh....I really feel like kicking myself in the balls.

I was really looking forward to enjoying my internship with a film production company. But I just didn't know there was nightmare in the package itself. Yeah, the first month was kinda boring, no bids, no jobs. Then January started and we had 2 jobs, back to back. It really drained me of my energy. But damn, I loved it, it was quite fun. Then February came and we started preparations for a German shoot that's gonna take place around the country. Yeah, a lot of work had to be done, and being an intern, I really chipped in a lot. Getting quotes from agencies etc. Then the bombshell was dropped.

Apparently the Germans are being very stingy on their cash and started slashing the crew list. I was off the job as well. I was really upset, my producer put a lot of high hopes in me by telling how lucky I am being an intern and working on a movie. And he himself couldn't bring himself to tell me the news. I was fuckin pissed. And all the effort I put it, the quotes....everything got slashed to save on budget. WTF??!!! A movie shoot without paramedic assistants?! Don't blame me if anyone dies on set!!!

Now they're all away on shoot leavin me in the office with my other boss. I've got shit to handle from that boss, and I still get orders from the guys who are on the road. And sometimes askin for ridiculous things in short notice!!!

Now it's 11pm and I'm still in the office settling stuff so I can send it to guys who are outstation on the shoot. I'm kinda annoyed cos I have to do the office chores, plus the crap from the. And weekends aren't weekends at all. I still have to do work. AH Damn.....I'm just waiting till this internship is over.


Oh by the way....my boss offered me a job after I graduate in November. I guess there's enough reason to deter me from taking it. I just feel like I got played.....maybe cos I'm an intern. But the guys are nice people. Still thinkin....

Most of the intern jobs available suck. A cheap way of using students to get the job done.

I remember spending a couple of monts in the central warehouse of a big drugstore chain. All I saw all day long were fricking shampoos and other hairproducts

Well the worst part is I don't get paid, except if I go for shoot. About 100 bucks a day. So far I've only gone for 8 shoot days, that was in January. And till this very moment, none yet. The German movie could have got me some cash. Thanks, German fucktards.

I kind of have the opposite thing going on: I love the internship I'm doing right now. I'm interning as a computer programmer/software designer, and will then graduate (I've completed all my college undergrad coursework, and will graduate once this internship is over - I'm not taking any courses right now). What's cool is that I can still do things like volunteer events with my college, despite for all intents and purposes being finished with my undergrad. I plan on going to another university for my Master's.
