The Job thread was great. Unfortunately, it seems like a lot of topics in Hellheim have been deleted.. I can't find Dago the Sailor Man.

Just went through the JOB thread and laughed my ass off!!

My brother is working at the IT department of a big research company. I've heard some pretty cool stories of people asking the must stupid things.

The Job thread was great. Unfortunately, it seems like a lot of topics in Hellheim have been deleted.. I can't find Dago the Sailor Man.

The German vid was awesome. I only understood about one word in 20, which is odd considering I'm part German. I didn't get the bit with the ear protectors though, was it "wear these and you won't have to hear your colleagues tortured screams"?

Just last night (I'm on call) I had a guy, at 3am, in New Hampshire, telling me that I could power on his PCs because "we've done it before." I tried explaining to him that it's impossible for me to power on a piece of equipment that's in a different state. He wasn't buying it.
