Fucking maniacs :D. Good to see we Brits can keep up with the Americans in the "crazy-ass" stakes

WOW, no wonder I get slightly frightened listening to Throbbing Gristle or Nurse With Wound...

HAHAHHAHAHA @ True Black Metal.

Three cheers for old-school industrial!

It's so over-the-top that it almost reads like a joke, though...

industrial != metal

Nothing against industrial, of course. I'm a fan of such things as Wumpscut, Aslan Faction, Flesh Field, Leaether Strip, and others of that ilk. But...well, it's industrial.

In case you didn't notice: any of my reviews != metal, so if we can have my reviews, I can't see why industrial would be a big problem. I agree with you wholeheartly about the industrial != metal thing, but I was not suggesting it was. Too many people here tend to think that industrial metal or industrial rock is THE industrial genre.

I wholeheartedly agree with your last point; Godflesh is amazing and deserving of worship, but there is more to it. And please don't take offense, as I really don't mean any personal insult, but I don't think your reviews belong here. You're a very good writer and music critic - it's just a genre disconnect. :ph34r:

If you read my reply to such a comment in the rabih abou-khalil review thread, you'll find that I agree to that as well.
