I downloaded and watched the entire first season a few months ago, I find it to be quite entertaining!

I think each episode is like 15 min long. Sometimes it is funny, other times it just so-so. I like how everything is named after black metal bands like I think Burzum was the name of a fast food restaurant and some other things were named Darkthrone and Behemoth.

Isn't Corpsegrinder from Cannibal Corpse and Mark Hamill involved in this somehow?

No.

Metalocalypse is sweet...I did a presentation about it for Spanish when we had to talk about a TV show. Everyone was like "WTF?"

You can watch the entire episodes on Google Video. And yeah, one time they were eating at a place called "Dimmu Burger"

there was also Carpathian Forest University, the film producer's middle name in one of the last episodes was Amarth, and the studio they made the movie in belonged to Behemoth productions. XD

Metalocalypse is damn good. I have this urge to be in a band as freakishly huge as Dethklok. It's worth watching just for the references and spotting the cameos

Actually yeah he is supposed to be based of Devin Townsend. There's an old picture floating around of supposedly before they changed his appearance to look less like Devin. In the pic he looks freakishly identical.

But yeah all of them are based off of different metal musicians. Skwisgaar is obviously Alexi and Nathan Explosion is Corpsegrinder etc etc

Anyone else see Toni Iommi and Mikael Akerfeldt?
