Extremely right-wing, baptist televangelist Jery Falwell bit it. found dead in his office, it isn't clear how he died. Several quotes that have spewed from his bloated, homophobic, racist mouth include:

"AIDS is the wrath of a just God against homosexuals."

"I hope to see the day when, as in the early days of our country, we don't have public schools. The churches will have taken them over again and Christians will be running them."

Some of you have probably neve rheard of him, but the most intolerant, conservative demonination of Christianity is based in the region of America where I live. I've seen him on tv numerous times (we have two fucking 24 hour christian channels down here. Yeah, I know :lame: ) I know it's in bad taste to be happy with someone's death, but...heavy metal just lost one of it's fattest enemies. :dio: Here is a pretty well written wikipedia bio.

You forgot to mention that he blamed 9/11 on abortion, lesbians and feminists.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one happy that the fat fuck died. I only wish that I could've heard him explain how genocide and segregation would've fit in with Jesus' teachings.

nah that was Ted Haggard. And it wasn't so much they caught him with an escort so much as the escort came forword and told the world that he serviced him once a month and Haggard was doing coke durring it.

Gee, I guess I the bible really does promote hate, intolerance and biggotry. And what was this guy doing in front of a football field? I thought competitive sports went against the teachings of God. :rolleyes:


I don't like seeing anybody die, but this guy sounds about as crazy as that Evangelical group that was actually once saying (no joke): "The Virginia Tech shooting was well-justified since colleges/universities go against the teachings of Christ." :huh:
