I've been stunned here for the last hour+ since finding out. Just terrible. Not just humongous grief but huge confusion surrounds this. Benoit missed the WWE Vengeance PayPerView on Sunday because of what were announced as personal issues concerning his family and now a day later this horror comes up. But it is not for me speculate. One of historys greatest pro wrestlers has passed on and he will be deeply missed, though not forgotten. I trust that Benoit and Eddie Guerrero are grappling it up somewhere far beyond. Thank you for the memories and reasons to love pro wrestling. May Chris and his family have peace. |

A fantastic performer indeed. He will be missed. RIP Chris Benoit and family. Does anyone think that the "passing away" of Mcmahon is a gimmick? I think he is very much alive and kicking. |

As for Mcmahon, yes, it was a total gimmick. The Benoit-tribute RAW that should be running in the States as we speak had Vince come out and explain that the death-story concerning his character was scripted and should be forgotten. The purpose of the show now was to honor Chris Benoit. A class act by Vince, who has gotten his share of dirt from wrestling fans over the years. Sheesh, I'm still just numbed. Just like when Eddie died a little under two years ago. I'm sure many can't understand why to take the passing of a wrestler so seriously, but that's how serious the passion for this sport can get. |

While personally hoping that betting wouldn't be included in this tragedy, it has been confirmed by authorities that the victims were not shot. Otherwise, no details have arisen. |

Actually... fuck this Benoit guy. What he did is abominable and unforgivable. There's no justification for something like this, what the fuck! Which coming from Law Enforcement, who see all kinds of crazy shit, this roller coaster ride is just beginning. Apparently he went home because his wife Nacy called him and said that his son Daniel was vomiting blood. It's possible Nancy killed the son, and then Benoit offed her in return, and then killed himself. Ahhhhh, it's just so fucking tragic no matter how you look at it. He was my favorite wrestler too. I don't think I can even watch it anymore. |
