Post subject: | Promo CDs and Electronic Devices...HELP!! |
I've recently become the owner of a Promo CD ( or two). When I place the cd into Windows Media Player or Itunes it's been split into 100 tracks. This is obviously done to thwart possible file sharing. Are there any programs that will aid in getting the configuration of the CD back to normal so I can listen to it here at my desk and place it on my Ipod, without having to scan through 100 damn tracks. If anyone knows of anything please let me know. |

Just make an playlist with the tracks in it. Its not really a problem as long as they are in order. I don't know about Itunes |

It's very annoying when they (Nuclear Blast, is it?) do that. I tend to not bother entering the details or anything, just make a playlist from it as unknown said. |

hmm.. perhaps if you made a back-up copy of the cd and then tried to convert the back-up cd to mp3. I don't know if it's possible to make a prober back-up cd, though. uh.. i bet one of them programs that has the ability to create an ISO picture of the cd would do the trick. Same technique ppl use to back up video games, but again.. dunno if that can be done with an audio cd. either that, or u could try to find yourself a program on the web that can tie tracks together to one track.. such thing must exist, i think. |
