So a few weeks ago, I was at a friend's apartment watching tv, and a commercial for the Nick at Nite lineup (for the non-initiated, a lineup of old shows such as I Love Lucy that used to come on Nickelodeon at 9 p.m. or so, but has since gotten its own channel). The announcer proudly proclaimed that the new lineup would include such shows as Home Improvement. Let me reiterate. Home Improvement is on Nick at Nite. We both suddenly felt very old.

And then I woke up today and realized that as of now, I'm 23 years old. Holy crap.

I'm 18 and I was around with home improvement, except I never really liked it. Besides, 23 is the new 16 with today's medicine. I'm a Chemical Engineering major, so I'll be contributing to the prolongation of your life in the near future.

Does that mean you just turned 23? If so Happy birthday, and I also feel old about that, but I realized I was 23 on Sept 2nd. Whats worse is 1997 was ten years ago, and it feels like it was just a couple of years ago. :mellow:

Anyway, I'm 25 right now. And I also remember watching Home Improvement a long time ago. Particularly back in 1997.

Pffft! I just turned 32. Wait until you hit about 28 and all of a sudden look down and realize you're getting fat. :lol:

I also pulled a gray hair out of my nose the other day. :lame:

Thank you, and yes, all that was supposed to be a clever way of saying it's my birthday.

I've had grey hairs for a couple years now. It's hereditary, though; my mom started going grey when she was my age.
