Hi! I belong to the french band called OESTRE (Metal HxC Indus).
Oestre is an Indus Metal band created in 2003 in Limoges (South West France). This one has already recorded 3 demos which the last entitled “Biotope” was recorded in studio.
The music of this band is based on Indus Hardcore Metal (Nostromo, Fear Factory) with some polyrhythmic passages ( Gojira, Meshuggah), implemented with samples (electro, jungles and atmospheric passages).
website : http://oestre.free.fr
our new EP "Biotope" was very well recived by webzines...all the reviews are in our forum
new tracks since our last demo : http://oestre.free.fr/new-tracks/
tell me what you think about it!
we are looking for a label to help us in our steps, and lots of shows!
take care
mattt

To be honest, I think its a bit shit. But i'm really not a fan of this type of music, so even if you were the greatest band ever to grace the genre, I would still think you were shit. Sorry!!!

But keep up the hard work, it'll pay off eventually!!!

Although I really don't listen to this kind of music at all, asside from the production values on the vocals, which were subdemo quality, this wasn't so bad, the polyrhythms are a fine addition! I'd say lose a bit of the genericness, get trance beats and a violin or cello or something... Not that you will, but it would be cool...

Eyesore might like this band.

you know nothing about me so to have an opinion on what i listen to when you have no idea is just retarded

Why put your band online if you don't want people to comment on it?? As i said i don't like your style of music, i'm not going to sugar coat my responce, if i think your shit i'll tell you.

Ok, i agree about you saying what you think but you could have said it in a nicer way..
Anyhow your samples arent too bad but i dont really like the electro, atmospheric passages.. The vocals are good, but i'd prefer listening to more guitar than keyboards.

Your right. But i would have thought the guy would have understood that if i don't like his genre how can i like his band? he shouldn't have taken offence to that because my opinon doesn't matter, the opinions that do are from people who like that kind of music.

Hi guys... You seem to be so angry now! You didn't understand my words. I just continue in the same way! You said : your music is shit because I don't like this kind of music (!?). That's all? nothing to say more? We need to be criticized... impossible to go on without being judged. But I can't stand people saying : oh it's only shit!! I'm sure you listen to other kind of music. So I don't fuck off as you said, and I wait for other words! once again : take care! And thanks a lot to those who gave us their feelings.
ciao

that's a good idea Matt.. try that out!!! :P .. also... add female opera, banjos, and rap... that'll not only make your music twice but trice as good :P .. and use accoustic instruments instead, and skip the "growling", damnit!!!
