Hallo out there,
this is my band Craving
you can find the music on http://www.cravingmetal.de
go to "band" and than "musik" in the right little window
You need Opera or Firefox to open the website.
About Craving:
The band was founded in summer 2005 in Oldenburg, Germany.
There were not all members at the beginnig in the band!!!
Actually we were in 5 pieces: Johannes (vox also played bass before Christian joined in in Juni 2006), Lukas (guitar, vox), Ivan (Guitar, Vox), Christian (Bass joined the band later) and Lutz (Drums, Programming)
We recorded our first demo cd in early 2006 (january-febuary).
It was recorded and mixed by Johannes exept song 4&7 by "Schorse".
Johannes has left the band in Oktober 2006 to study media... ahm...stuff. Doesnt matter! He has left the band by moving out of the city which sucked because from now on we had no vocalist. Ivan allready made 2 tracks on the demo (4&7) and Lukas discovered that his voice is able to reproduce high pitch screaming a la Johannes. So Ivan & Lukas become vocalists of the band.
The music of the band is hard to caticorise, it is kind a Melodic Metal Mix with a lot death and black metal but also other sub gentres.

So, check it out if your want to.
And we would be glad if you would say, what youre think about our music.

Stay tuned
Lakter

First of all, I tried to get in with IE by going directly to: http://www.cravingmetal.de/html/index.html
and it works pretty ok appart from the width of some frames and minor visual things. So if people don't have Firefox (which they should have), then they can go directly there and download the songs (Band -> Musik)

Now as for the music I'm not going to make comments since it's not my style of music. It sounds like Black Metal, the sound feels a bit thin and old-school but the bits I heard sounded a bit progressive musically. The production sounds ok, nothing wrong with it and it sounds pretty clean (a bit thin maybe) but I suppose a good engineer/mixer could make it sound better/heavier. But I'm sure to the black metallers here it will sound much more promising. As I said, don't take my words too seriously as I'm not into the black/death metal genre at all. Good luck in the future.
