well i dont think i can manage to put up 15 favourite bands but. here goes.
1. Iron Maiden- because they simply are my all-time heroes, and have inspired me alot
2. Joe Satriani- if he counts as a band. Helped me become a better guitarist. doesnt listen much to him anymore though.
3. In Flames- the band that got me into the more aggressive and darker side of metal.
4. Kamelot- damn, they just keep delivering the goods.
5. Children of Bodom- the earlier works (hatebreeder, follow the reaper)
6. Gluecifer- amazing rock'n roll band
7. Turbonegro- dont know what to say. simply amazing
8. Arch Enemy- oh the riffs.
9. Exodus- tempo of the damned is so fucking godlike. Gary Holt is amazing
10. Enslaved- my very first suitable live experience. i was among the first ones who heard fusion of sense and earth and essence for the first time live, before ruun was released
11. Silver- amazing norwegian punk
12. Death- the riffs, the solos, the drumming, oh man.
13. Pagans Mind- Best Prog Band alive in my opinion
14. Lost Horizon- Second best Prog/power band alive
15. W.A.S.P- extremely catchy...and i like things catchy
