They're going into the sutdio soon. They've been inactive for a while after Shavo from SOAD gave Brent a brain haemmorage.

Fucking SOAD is always ruining everything.

Blood Mountain was earth, so that leaves air as the last element, right? Maybe they'll go 'Isis' on us.

I'm interested where they'll go after this one. Guess they'll just not do anymore concepts.

Whatever the case, the concept for Blood Mountain was kinda stupid. Not sure if I want anymore concepts out of these guys...

Seeing as their lyrics make no sense anyway, a concept wouldnt make much difference.

And to LOTN: apparently, they got in a punch up. Its why they haven't been touring for a while.

I thought it was a pretty cool concept; climbing a mountain as a metaphor to achieving your goals, and the obstacles on the way. I dunno if the lyrics were great, but the concept itself was cool.

But anyways, can't wait for a new album :dio:

The only problem was it lead to about a hundred shitty reviews that were all like "...and this labum very appropriatley describes climbing a mountain, which is like totally what listening to this album is like man...you're like, getting higher up and like, finding something new at every turn and like, I'm a shitty reviewer and need to rely on pishy metaphors because I can't describe this music properly.....impossibly brutal...infathomably complex....as deep as the sea mentioned on the last album...."

It's weird how some concept albums seem to attract a huge amount of attention to the concept while others don't... especially in the case of Blood Mountain, since it's not really central to the music... and "climbing a mountain" is incredibly vague.

I actually thought that was really funny.

They've said in interviews that it's going to be less obvious than 'air' or 'space'. Gas, perhaps?

Awesome, I've always wanted an album about farts.

I don't know if its an element, but electricity would be a cool album concept.

On the elemental concepts, wasn't Remission given the fire concept rather retroactively? They only started mentioning the elements around Blood Mountain.
