Oh, clearly I didn't mean that Ozzy should get 50%, but that he should get, like, 15% or whatever with everyone else.

Should Mustaine or Mcgovney (sp?) get 15% of Metallicas money? Or Burtons family?

Ah, but they weren't the reason for the band's success, were they?

Maybe not Mustaine or Mcgovney, but any Metallica fanboy claims that Cliff was and still is the best bass player ever. So according to your logic, his family should get some money no?

Erm, no. Black Sabbath have sold a lotta records due to Ozzy's fame, something you can't say for Burton and Metallica.

Fine, be that way.

What about Halford and Priest? I know Priest wasn't the most popular band in the 90's, but they must of made some money. Should he not be entitled to some of it?

Maybe he did, I don't know enough about it. I was only ever arguing from what I know, I'm sure each case is different. Chances are, of course, that Ozzy's after the H&H reunion cash, but he may have a point. Not that he's 100% right, I never meant that.

He may be entitled to Sabbath cash, but should be nowhere near the money they made with Heaven and Hell. That is just wrong.
Any lawyer who would argue that Ozzy deserves a cut of H&H deserves their balls cut off. Hard with a dull box cutter.

Said lawyer was probably offered a lot of money by the Osbournes to argue it.

Ha ha. He's an old fool... and if there IS a metal legend who should retire, then it should be Ozzy. Not Dio, Iommi or Butler. (Yeah, I'm looking at you Lucifer... :lame: )

found this interview with Ronnie James Dio talking about the rights to the Black Sabbath name and about Ozzy:

Hey, I rather liked Reunion, despite the studio tracks being utter gash.
