With many of the big names in the scene having already received their offering from the collective metal world, what are some bands that have been around for a long time that have yet to receive their due accolades? Or if they are a younger band who has pushed the creative envelope, why do they deserve a tribute album. To make this creative and for this highly interested in the topic, what bands do you envision performing the songs?

Yeah right. No one else can play those songs, not like that.

You'd have to get Geoff Tate and Yngwie to start a band to do that album, I would imagine.

I think you are right. Geoff can only hit A5, and Tyrant can hit C7, as shown on Youtube. Is anyone better than Rob Tyrant...

I would have thought Roadrunner or Napalm would have done something for him, but nope. It's pretty poor :/.
