Yeah, I find myself listening to a lot more Di Anno Maiden than Dickenson these days.

I don't really know what to tell you. I agree with, I think it was Goat's review of the IVth Crusade, in that they're a band where I thought "eh, this is okay," until one day, I don't know why exactly, they clicked. I can understand why someone would find them uninteresting, but they tap into this groovy, primordial part of my brain that just wants to lift weights and beat people up. And they rock the hell out of it.

The exact same thing happened to me. A band that started off as boring has now become great to my ears.

It's not that I don't like them or think they suck. I can put on a song and rock out to it, I just don't think they are this amazing band that deserves all the praise they get. Maybe one day they will click with me and I'll "get it", but for now they are just another band that does nothing to get my blood pressure rising.

I think they're always seen as a good consistent band. Never anything amazing or groundbreaking just solid.

Yep. Sometimes I just feel the need to put them on and enjoy; it is not like they are topping any lists.
