CCorpse are good, but not worth $60 unless your death metal deprived. And never heard of those last two bands.

Dunno what you guys pay over there, since a lot of bands are local for you, but here $60 for an international act with 3 other bands is actually hella cheap.

I see the Mars Volta every time they come out here, for example, it usually costs $85, with no back-up act.

Metallica cost like $150. GENERAL ADMISSION. And our dollar is worth more than yours. Such a disgrace.

Ooooooh. I paid $30 to see CCorpse and paid $70 to see Metallica. Shows usually cost anywhere from $15 to $35 for underground metal acts. Cannibal Corpse is great live, and if you have the money I would recommend seeing them.

I have considered going to this show, but I'll only have a two hour drive.

If you decide to go, let me know.

Roger that. I just want to make sure it isn't going to coincide with any of my classes or major assignments.

I mean is so hard just to spell the name out! It's not like EVERYONE knows what you're talking about!

I'd had prefered VoD et SOAD, those I can put a name on.
Generally, I think it's stupidity and/or some kind of childish snobbery not to spell a band's name fully as if saying "I know, if you don't, you don't know anything". That's how I take it, anyway.

VON is VON, old school black metal band that is just reforming, watain got their name from them, varg repped their shirt in court, Von- satanic blood.

and toad is an awesome local band who rules.

so if you've never heard of VON you don't know shit about black metal...

Yeah because they've been such an active band with a long discography that it could not have ever been missed!! You follow a very logical line, Husker.

VON represents one aspect of black metal, only, husker. And I think they are boring.

you guys are so smart. who the fuck gets mad over someone mentioning who they're seeing live? holy shit.

Everyone who knows about black metal knows VON.

Anyways, VON's new material slays. I picked up a 2 song split from the bands and it rips..

I remember VON (Victory Orgasm Nazi, or so Varg thought?) but I don't remember their music.

Relax dude. Some people were confused and Stefan got typically pissy in his own French way, that is all.

Hope the concert was fun.
