Latest shipment arrived from The End Records.

Skeletonwitch - Beyond the Permafrost. Simply amazing. Mind blowing. 95/100

Assedivm - Fighting for the Flame. Some good ole fashioned heavy metal. Very enjoyable 83/100.

Gorod - Process of a new Decline. Another stellar offering. Technical death but still very creative and very catchy. 90/100.

!T.O.O.H.! - Order and Punishment. This one is going to take a while to appreciate, methinks. Can't give a fair score.

Coroner - Punishment for Decadence. Didn't live up to the hype IMO although still good. 85/100.

Semen Datura - Einsamkeit. Very creative, with an eye for catchiness. Is this really a one-man effort? 80/100, maybe even more.

Reverend Bizarre - In the rectory of the bizarre reverend. I found it boring, but then again I don't smoke the ganja. 75/100 for a standard brain.

Glorior Belli - Meet vs at the Sovthern Sign. A lot like latter-day Satyricon with even perhaps more blues influence. I liked it. 80/100.

The problem with all these 80s classics is that if you didn't hear them at the time, they sound like everything else.

I guess from the way some people talk about them, I was expecting to have an orgasm.

It doesn't matter if it's 1989 or 2009, Coroner still is a far superior band compared to Skelentonwitch and most other bands.

And I will probably come to think so in time .. I was probably a bit hasty.

I know, I've gone far too long without having the actual album in my collection.
