Great stuff especially the first three songs. Take all of the slower chugging riffs off of All shall fall, and that pretty much sums up Between two worlds.

Yeah, I utterly overlistened to this one a few years ago. Used to always play it when going to the uni.

Was one of the first black metal albums I heard way back when I was fourteen or fifteen along with Khronos and De mysteriis Dom Sathanas. I remember the production being a turnoff and not liking Abbath's vocals, but of course now while listening to The sun no longer rises, I can say this is a decent album by the band- much more acrobatic than Diabolical Fullmoon mysticism.

I really like Heritage but this succeeds so much better in recapturing the spirit of classic progressive rock. Bluesy, groovy, catchy and phenomenal vocals from Gildenlöw.

Some great songs on here, but my expectations were not exceeded. Sadly. Yiri is a fantastic song. Loving the intro.

One of the year's greatest albums. Stoner/doom with hints of math rock, progressive rock and post-grunge. Very good.

It's not the greatest album of all times but it's entertaining from the beginning to the end and a very suprising return to form for the veteran NYC Thrashers. Like I said before, so long as you don't expect Among the Living II (it sounds more like a (way) better We've Come for You All part 2), I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Peste Noire - L'Ordure à l'état Pur

Brilliant album. But as always with KPN have a bit of an open mind when listening to it...

Better than their debut.
For fans of 80s Heavy Metal.

Sure, it's not as good as Among the Living, still one year after their timeless classic, Anthrax managed to deliver and entertaining and solid album.
Way better than the overrater boring rifforama Persistence of Time is.

"Boring" and "rifforama" should never appear in the same sentence. And Persistence is a great album!
