Atmospheric. Most of their recordings are raw given they were recorded in the analog days, and the drums and cymbals are very prominent with the constant clanging. The music itself is very ambient-esque, just check them out.

Generic isn't a bad thing. Do tell how they are incredibly innovative. Are they proto-slam and I'm just too ignorant to know? At the end of the day, they do what they do and it's decent but nothing ground-breaking.
