I dont go anywheres where I need as much music as an MP3 player can hold, I like making Mix CDs giving then stupid names and labels and such.

I almost got an ipod for free though, since TD bank had some promotion going on that if you switch your bank account to them they would give you one. I almost did it, but it was like 2 days after I signed up at CIBC and I didnt feel like doing it all over again. A friend of mine did it though, turns out it was the ipod Shuffle they were giving out.

I got an 8 gig MP3 player for $50 due to an open box deal from work, so I just rotate my collection of new favourites through it.

I have my 80 gig brick. I have filled roughly half. Almost 8000 songs, but I also have several videos on my Ipod and pictures. As anyone would guess the majority of the music on my Ipod is thrash. And it would take way too long to post all my stuff. But I have the big guns like, all Metallica, all Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Death, kreator, Destruction, Sodom, Exodus, etc., etc.., etc...

I don't own an MP3 player although I'm planning to get my hands on one since traveling 4 hours a day to and from work is getting boring.

I'm listening to Ensiferum's 'Victory Songs' a lot at the moment. A lot as in I keep replaying it the whole day for the past 2 weeks without even listening to anything else. It's addictive.

Two hours there and two back or four each way?

I need a bigger i-pod, mine holds like 400 songs and I'm constantly shuffling all the music round on it, it's becoming annoying.

I have had a 20gb mp3 player for many years already and it's totally full of albums so there's no point trying to type that in here.

But on my mobile phone which I use to listen to music on a daily basis, I have a 2 gb card that I have half-filled with music. That one has the following at the moment: (in alphabetical order ofcourse)

Andre Matos - Time To Be Free [2007]
Ayreon - 01011001 [2008]
Crotchduster - Big Fat Box of Shit [2003]
Dance CD collection (A collection I made with the fucking best dance songs for driving or working out)
Gamma Ray - Land Of The Free II [2007]
Heed - The Call [2005]
Helloween - Gambling With the Devil [2007]
Iced Earth - Framing Armageddon [2007]
Kamelot - Ghost Opera [2007]
Machine Men - Circus of Fools [2007]
Messiah's Kiss - Dragonheart [2007]
Shaman - The Ritual [2002]
Sonata Arctica - Unia [2007]
Xystus - Receiving Tomorrow [2004]

Seeing the list, I realize that I've had some of those albums for far too long than they deserve in there and maybe I should replace them with something else soon.

I don't really listen to a lot of music except when I'm on my computer. But I do have a 4GB iPod, although it's nowhere near full. I have like 600 megabytes of music on it, and a few Futurama episodes, lol. This is my playlist:

At the Drive-In - Relationship of Command
Beirut - The Flying Club Cup
Converge - Jane Doe
Miles Davis - The Peacocks
Nas - Illmatic
Pyramaze - Immortal
Scarlett Johansson - Anywhere I Lay My Head
Zero Hour - Dark Deceiver
The Mars Volta - Bedlam in Goliath
Yann Tiersen - La Valse des Monstres
Yann Tiersen - Rue des Cascades
Louis Armstrong - Greatest Hits
Ice Cube - AmeriKKKas Most Wanted
Rage Against the Machine - The Battle of Los Angeles
Erykah Badu - Baduizm
Venetian Snares - Rossz Csillag llat Született
The God Machine - One Last Laugh In A Place Of Dying
The God Machine - Scenes From The Second Storey

I think that's it.

Two there and two back. My office is 70km away from home. I take an hour bus ride from home to the city, then a 20 minute city train to the nearest station near my office then a 10 minute bus ride from the station to the office. The problem is, the buses to the office is about half an hour to an hour once. So that roughly makes up 2 hours per trip, and it's the exact reverse for the return trip.

I have an 80gb iPod and it's pretty much full. It would take me way too long to list it out, although lets say according to iTunes i have ~50 different genres of music on it. That's not including anything like "Vegetarian Porn-Grind with Elements of Folk Metal", my genre tagging is pretty open-ended.

I got the promo for the album ages ago, pity they didn't get more attention, decent band.

That's insane. You should get a Nintendo DS with one of those flash cards that can store both games and music, that way you can enjoy both gaming and listening to music while on the bus.

If the buses there are anything like they are here, make sure you don't get mugged by some white trash crackhead.

Their first album "Main Frame Collapse" also kicks some serious ass, their singer was Ingo from Necrodeath, Cicatriz Black was a great comeback album and one of my favourite thrash releases of last year.

Well I'm not into games apart from my FIFA Manager. I just can't stand staring at a screen while my avatars go about doing whatever they are supposed to do. And my cellphone has very limited storage that it can only store a few songs, just enough for my ringtone, message alert and alarm clock.

Which brings me to a dilemma, should I get an iPod/MP3 player, or should I just get a new cellphone with bigger storage? People have advised me against depending on your cell for music because it drains the battery twice as fast compared to your normal usage. On the other hand, if I get a separate player, I'd have an extra gadget to carry around.

Well we have a lot of muggers here as well, especially in the city, where I take the bus back home. I've never came across any and I hope not to. Which also leads to a different dilemma, if I have a separate player, I'll have 4 things to really bother about; my wallet, cellphone, player and my laptop. I can get a better cellphone to reduce the number of important things I carry. But then a better phone would attract prying eyes.
