Akimbo - Navigating the Bronze
Triclops! - Out of Africa

all on vinyl. Alternative Tentacles has good prices for bands that are signed to them :D

In the past few days:

Helstar - Nosferatu
Lane, Lana - Covers Collection (Limited to 3,000)
Lane, Lana - Red Planet Boulevard
Lane, Lana & Erik Norlander - European Tour 2003 Souvenir CD (Limited to 2,000)
Nashville Pussy - Get Some!
Niacin - Niacin
Novembre - Materia
Paatos - Silence Of Another Kind
Ratt - Invasion Of Your Privacy **
Social Justice - I Refuse To Lose! (7" EP)
Stone Sour - Stone Sour (CD/DVD w/Bonus Tracks) **
Toilet Boys - Toilet Boys
Various Artists - Sucking The 70s (2CD) **
Wilson, Nancy - Live At McCabes Guitar Shop
Without Face - Astronomicon
Zed Yago - ...From The Twilight Zone (2CD)

** From SwapaCD.com.

That Social Justice EP is a great score. Won it for about $6, from a UK seller that didn't know this was Downset before the name change. So no one but me bid!

That Helstar album is great.

Overkill - Under the Influence, is this a good place to start?
Cathedral - Garden of unearthly delights
Iron Maiden - Dance of Death
Atrox - Binoculars

Thoughts?=)

Iced Earth - the I Walk Among You single.

I've gotta be honest: Matt Barlow's a better fit for Iced Earth than Tim Owens. He isn't even necessarily a better vocalist (actually, Tim Owens probably did a better job with Setian Massacre), but the band just sounds much more organic and at-home with Barlow at the mic. Somebody really should review this sometime soon.

Matt is a band member. Tim was a dude singing.

How's the LADDVD? I had it on VCD previously and it's just awesome. There are some extra footages as well, right? A friend of mine bought it, bloody idiot couldn't do me a favour for the least.

The sound is awesome and the video very clear- of course, you'll already know how great the concert itself is. I haven't seen all of the second disc yet, but it has a documentary on the early Dickinson years of Maiden (with an emphasis on the World Slavery Tour), as well as footage from a few other shows, but, unfortunately, with the same songs (except for 22 Acacia Avenue)

Deicide - Till Death Do Us Part

I have not listened to it yet cos I lent it to a friend of mine for a week. He says it's nothing impressive as Stench of Redemption. What are your takes on it?

Illusion - Square edged circle

Holy. Shit.

Every prog/power-head in here should check this out asap.

And yeah, they are 19 years old and IMO better than Dream Theater was on their first record.

I guess that would best describe it. Neither shitty nor great.
