This album is great throughout.. Surprised it hasn't gotten more love from this site..the review was what inspired me to purchase it, but I guess I am just wondering what everyone else thinks about it....

That's interesting. I stumbled upon this very album the other day while browsing music on youtube. It's quite good but I was more in the mood for some chaos and destruction rather than melancholy and despair.

Tony loves high scores, for one thing. And you said yourself in that review that you are not a big fan of black metal. I listened to a few tracks of this and it is fine, but stretches that definition in my mind.

When I replied to that review I was just starting to get into black metal... Now it is basically all I purchase.... I was more into thrash and death metal.....But nonetheless, I think this is a great album and now I'll shut up about it!

Fair enough. I think it sounds fine, just not really into that sound right now.

I'm pretty partial to some Marduk albums in that style: heard this track?

The middle to end of that song is fucking brutal man... Cool video too!
I actually bought Marduk's HSBWWAG along with Negator's Old Black on the same day....
