My new stereo finally arrived after a month and a bit on order.

And it sounds awesome!

Though the wife had first dibs on it and played a Van Halen CD on it.

They'll hear it in crystal clear clarity too!

Mind you, it's still not as loud as when the wife and her cohorts jam with stuff like Audioslave and Soundgarden and even Bad News (she's a bass player).

So the new stereo is best described as an AUDIO ORGASM.

Yes it's that good.

Chucked on Iron Maiden's A Matter of Life and Death and Cavalera Conspiracy's Blunt Force Trauma and was blown away.

So huge sounding! The bass is massive! And it's as clear as a mountain spring.

Found out that Fopp are selling remasters of a load of 60's and 70's prog for £3 a pop. Got Soft Machine's Six and Moody Blues' A Question of Balance while trying to restrain myself.
