Okay, so I really like The Chtonic Chronicles, and it would be a perfect album if it weren't for the damn production. The gain on that guitar is insane and it's WAY too loud in the mix, it just drowns everything out. The keyboards were always one of my favorite parts about Bal-Sagoth, and the guitar completely overpowers them. Great album other than that though.

:dio: :dio: Shaun Steels is far more intense than most doom metal drummers I know (he just returned for the Barghest ep), and yes, thankfully he will be on the record they are releasing later this year.

Doesn't beat the 1973 version.

Someone should metal the fuck out of it. Not symphonic power metal but full fledged fucking Death/Thrash.
