There is no doubt at all that the musicianship and the effort behind this release is stellar. But I still do think that they have a great deal of affection for the music of past times, and also that, they miss the era of progressive rock, and other golden ages for prime electronica, very much, and so it is reflected in their music, which I may add, is disingenuous, and well, rather foolish. Do they think music enthusiasts would miss, something so obvious? They are not good thieves. A good thief steal ideas but leaves it very hard to trace and barely condemnable. With this? Not so much. This recording reeks of plagiarism.

Some of the heaviest and extremist music to be heard and Slayer is not considered an extreme metal act.

This acquisition was made at a far distance music shop and it makes it all the more valuable. I will be acquiring much more of Priest, as time moves along. I am greatly enjoying the music on this release, which is about simplicity, spontaneous but with intentional execution, straightforwardness but with wit, hard-hittingness but with intention, sharpness but without cutting, and overall effectiveness. The kind of silkiness and coherence in rock/metal then that is unfounded in modern metal, now. Robust and vigorous.
