Not sure how I'm feeling about this yet. The pieces are there but the compositions aren't particularly strong to my ears - seen people saying it's like it was composed using AI and yeah. Definitely Newpeth with growls rather than a return to previous style, too.

I'll have to give it a more attentive spin before I comment. Will do that sometime today, hopefully.

Alright. I will be listening to it for the first time tonight, too.

Haven't listened to an Opeth album in full really since Ghost Reveries. This one is fine by me.

A sightless group of musicians, that have left us graceless, and famished for a new recording, that is, they have only produced, three recordings, since their birth, which well is over 20 years ago.



Shall be initiating into this virgin release.

Ulcerate, May 2024 release. Rather great album, and an outstanding Avant-Garde DM act, but I do not sense a wide gap of progress, between this recording, and any of their previous outputs, as the 'reviewers' at the Archives, have so claimed.
