At least with Max you always know what you're gonna get, and he makes no qualms about it.

And that's not necessarily a bad thing. I mean, look at Bolt Thrower.

I wasn't saying it was a bad song. Just that everyone here knows exactly how it will sound before they hear it...

Oops I didn't realized they had released a second track. I rescind my statement. I thought we were still talking about the Killing song.

A film and an album, apparently. I'm going to assume disaster so either I'll be a future-telling wizard, or pleasantly surprised.

That poster has me oddly intrigued. I'm hoping for the best and I have no interest whatsoever in Nightwish.

Hi guys... Some of my buddies here locally ( Mostly friends with the guitarist John Kallal ) which would feature two dudes from Cellador, have gotten together to form a little project called " Defender " it's got Bill Hudson and Mikey Smith ( Think he's going by Gremio on this album ) both of Cellador fame and Bruno Agra from Revolution Renaissance. Anyway... If you like the oldschool heavy metal sound like Iced Earth or were a Cellador fan I'm sure you'll dig.

Some stuff from their demo they threw together for a preview. Check it out.

I'm looking forward to that Liturgy album. Renihilation really took me by surprise.

I really liked it but didn't give it nearly enough listens, having come out about the same time as the new Krallice and WITTR if I remember correctly. Need to go back to it.

Really cool track from Liturgy's new release:

http://stereogum.com/641382/liturgy-hig ... he-chapel/

It's dumb that I find out about more new bands from stupid indie sites than MR. I guess people ain't that interested in talking about up-and-coming bands? I dunno.

Yeah, High Gold was a pretty sick track. I like how they're doing more Krallice worship than some of the earlier stuff they've done.

Well, their last album was kinda noisy where this is very much black metal.

And do you like Krallice? I figured you would dig them liking WITTR and Weakling.

That 'High Gold' track is black metal? Our definitions vary.

Never really been able to get into Krallice. I get bored listening to them for longer than a few minutes...to be enjoyable for me, black metal needs to be very powerful, atmospheric, and melodic. Krallice are almost too rooted in riffs for my tastes.

I could be totally wrong on that. I'll admit I've never made it though Dimensional Bleedthrough in its entirety.
