Readying myself for their new offering before the end of the month draws nearer. Back-catalogue re-discoveries are immanent although I am missing some significant recordings from them.

After repeated listens I'm thoroughly enjoying the new Dream Theater. At first it didn't blow me away but after repeated listens I'm impressed. Another great album from the band.

Sounds great, Husker. Looking forward to hearing it even more now.

A time of distance from Dream Theater and a time of closeness to Dream Theater.

Shall be spending the next few hours with these two recordings, with view that I will only be able to hear the new Dream Theater, near the end of the month, alongside with some never-heard before albums added to the existing playlist.

Well, the music critic can't say Dream Theater weren't ambitious enough not to make extensive compositions with large-scale and broad structures.

Not been hearing great things about the new DT... "AI theater" some are calling it, their most safe and mid album in forever apparently! Only just started it here but that first track is pretty boring...

Yep, undoubtedly an overly safe and regressive album from them... The Shadow Man Incident and Bend the Clock the most interesting pieces so far, a good chunk of the album is downright forgettable bloat and should have been cut. Why on earth they thought another 75+ minute monster was warranted is beyond me... And the ending... oh god, they're doing Metropolis pt 3 next, aren't they?

A wonderful early release by the Progressive masters of 21st century.

The early days of Dream Theater were already filled with a special presence of neo-classicism, and a considerable degree of diversity, in song-writing, which was evidence, in their early competence of a group of musicians, who were to become increasingly, more noticeable, and a promising prospect, in the progress/classical dominion to come.

out of nowhere I heard theyre gonna be playing a show at a small Mexican bar in the city I went to school at. Its the day after a goth band is playing so I'll probably ask for the day off and spend the night out there and finally see these guys live.
