Had huge expectations and didn't love this quite as much as I thought I would. But the standouts....holy fuck. Especially the title track.

I still prefer Rock Until You Drop and All for One to this one. Rock solid album nonetheless. :dio:

Could be a lot better honestly, some good tracks like Into Everlasting fire, Burial ground, Despondent Souls, and Those left behind- but the album is an ant compared to Close to a world below.

First listen and I'm quite liking this. Since apparently this is a grower I'll probably love it after a few more spins. Arkhangelsk is an awesome song. :dio:

Dark Tranquility is always solid but seldom spectacular. I find myself liking their albums while I play them but little sticks in my mind once I'm done. Still, they are one of the best melodeath acts around I've been told, something must be escaping me... :unsure:

Yes, the Deluge is a great album. It could have been a classic with a better production and better singer but it's still great. As I remembered it to be actually.

So now, I'm trying this one :
