If anyone read Hansi's latest note before it vanished from the Blind Guardian site after only a day, he mentioned that he'd read fan comments on the internet and that people shouldn't worry, so I figure they've addressed the production issues with ANATO. I couldn't imagine any other problems, so I'm looking forward to that one now.

Thulsa Doom EP by Reverend Bizarre seems promising. New Isole CD being prepared for 2006 too, apparently. oh, and the Solitude Aeturnus which might not suck.

I can't drum up any enthusiasm for Katatonia or Amorphis though..

hell, I'm still discovering amazing bands every month, I can't say that I'm paying too much attention to new releases.

Dream Evil - they are in preproduction right now, the songs are mostly finished. The only change to the line-up is Gus G being replaced by Markus Black, but that is quite a big change. I hope the new guy's songwriting is as good as his playing (very good).

Nightwish - no new album til 2007.

Looking forward to Maiden (naturally), Elvenking, Firewind, Falconer and, err, lots of other stuff that I can't recall off the top of my head.....Mystic Prophecy, I guess. And Persuader.

Yep, but it's a cover's album. They're covering old obscure 70's rock songs. Shit they liked. Songs most people won't have heard of, thus the album will flop.
