You're talking about Hulk Rules, right? That CD is badass. I have it and it's a party favorite.

You should try and find this CD:

Franz Ferdinand are the worst thing ever to happen to British music.

Ok I can't qualify that, but fuck I hate them with a passion and all the poseur fans they've spawned unto the world.

Oh yeah and like three of the them are English, I wish everyone would stop calling them a Scottish band.

Franz Ferdinand are a fine scottish rock act
The Sensational Alex Harvey Band were a great scottish rock act
Otherwise, Scotland is like a No Man's Land when it comes to rocking... fucking blue-eyed soul !

oh yep, they're metallic but I mention them because they have entire songs that don't have harsh parts, with a really mellow post-rock sound. of course, they also have songs that are sludge ala Isis.

I guess there are a hundred bands like that right now but this one happened to be from scotland..

Sure if you want to consider Franz Ferdinand rock (I sure don't).

And yeah we have very few good acts in Scotland (Idlewild and Teenage Fanclub being happy exceptions), but don't you like Mogwai?

At least our Metal scene is getting a little better again.

I thought Green Jelly were awesome! They took the GWAR thing, made it goofy, and wrote catchier tunes! That little EP is really hard to find, though. Some are on eBay, but I'd be wary of theives, especially those shitbags from the UK selling Russian bootlegs.

I have Thriller by MJ, that's not something I'm proud of...

worse is a Barbara Streisandt best of... I bought it 'cause I needed one of the songs for a friend's birthday (that was before the internet). I still don't know why I did not put that where it belongs... to the trash !
