So, after selling out three 15,000 ppl shows for November, Metallica announces a fourth show here in Melbourne for September.

Fucking general admission just sold out in 9 minutes while I desperately tried to obtain just one ticket. Just one lousy ticket. I couldn't do it.

*ahem* Excuse me for a moment.

FUCK, FUCK YOUR STUPID FUCKING FUCK, I FUCKING KILL YOUR FUCK, FUCKING FUCK YOU SON OF A FUCK I'LL FUCK YOUR SHIT YOU STUPID FUUUUUCKCKCKCKCKCKCKCK!@K!@#JO!@#$JOP!@HJ!@$ HJ@!$J

*ahem* Sorry about that. This is the fourth time this has happened. I'm starting to feel like someone is fucking with me.

Minus the Bear were really good. Lots of enthusiasm for the opening band. I was kinda disappointed because there was more dancing for Bend Sinister than mtb because when mtb started playing there was no room.

Saw Bill Frisell tonight. White jazz guitarists should stop existing.

Saw Owen Howard's Drum Lore last night. They were a lot of fun, played mostly traditional but sometimes pretty weird jazz.

Saw Nomeansno last night and they are still the best band. Within 20-30 seconds of hearing them I was overcome with joy that lasted until they played Rags and Bones for the second encore. Also goddamn their new songs sound great.

Heres a nice article about Hammer Open Air. Still kinda sucks that I missed a shitload of good bands there.... like Wolf and Aura Noir, meh.

Just came back from a Rush show here in Quebec City.
They played a set of 2h30min which included many classics
and the whole "Moving Pictures" album! It was a wicked show, that will be burnt in my memory forever!

Converge + Kylesa + Gaza + Kvelertak: :dio:

Some people are complaining that the crowd wasn't as good as it could have been. I assume these people were looking the other way when half of the room exploded when Converge, as their first song, played "Fault and Fracture". Kvelertak really impressed me. Gaza were mental as always, and Kylesa/Converge blew me away. Fantastic stuff.

Pfft Grand Bazaar's Rush setlist beats almost anything in this whole thread.
