DANZIG!!!??? Want details!

Edit: After looking it up, it sounds fucking sweet.

Danzig's last few albums are horrible and his vocals make it sound like he's dying. I was hoping he'd stay retired from the music scene and bow out semi-gracefully.
And fuck you. They've changed the production on this one so I'm staying positive.

Hey it's not easy for me to say. I'm a diehard Misfits and Danzig fan.

Not true.
Beyond the End of Despair... and One for All/All for One were good entertaining albums. True that their previous, Reincarnation, was kind of sucky...

This will be out in August. Hopefully it'll be better than Prevail.

Wonder if this will be any good. I didn't really give the last one much of a chance.

Yes. I'm hoping they figured out Prevail was like watered down Kataklysm and unlike most of their albums there were only a few tracks I could enjoy.

They just need to pick the aggression back up a little and worry a bit less about having what seems like melodic death choruses.

I liked the old Kataklysm stuff that I heard.

The newer stuff is pretty boring.

Really? I always enjoyed their recent stuff more.
In my eyes they're a pretty consistent band, only Prevail was a step down.

Their newer stuff, to me, is little more than blasty, highly structured, generic Death Metal. It's pretty boring to me.

Their older stuff was more melodic, and although the vocals are silly, I could still get into it more.

Saw Kataklysm live and it was a total yawnfest.
